The natural essential oil (botanical name: Cupressus sempervirens) is distilled from the needles and young twigs of the cypress tree using steam. The colorless to slightly yellow oil is characterised by a spicy-woody scent. It goes very well with lavender, and rosemary as well as citrus, mint, and other coniferous notes.
