With its high content of polyunsaturated fatty acids (approx. 65 - 80 % linoleic acid, 8 - 13 % gamma-linolenic acid), the native, yellow-green oil is an ideal active ingredient oil for the care of dry, flaky, and itchy or irritation-sensitive skin. Due to the complex but extremely gentle extraction process with supercritical carbon dioxide, this evening primrose oil is not only free of residues but also contains more bioactive fatty substances (phytosterols, vitamins, etc.) than usual. This evening primrose oil is obtained from the seeds of evening primrose from controlled organic cultivation and is stabilized with natural rosemary antioxidants.
