Organic cocoa butter, deodorised
The Ecocert-certified, deodorised cocoa butter is organically grown, food-grade and has a seductive cocoa fragrance. The pale yellow pellets, which are used as a consistency agent in many cosmetic products, stand out due to their melting behaviour. While cocoa butter is still very hard below its melting range of 30-35°C, it immediately begins to melt when it reaches body temperature. This "melting" behaviour known from chocolate is partly responsible for the velvety skin feel of corresponding creams and lotions. The highly moisturising cocoa butter is particularly recommended for the care of dry and irritated skin.
Please note that emulsions with cocoa butter sometimes harden and only reach their final consistency after 1-2 days.
