Emulsifier PBS-6 is a non-ionic, PEG-free O/W (oil-in-water) emulsifier based entirely on renewable raw materials. It is particularly suitable for the formulation of low-viscosity lotions and sprays. 
 
Emulsions based on the emulsifier PBS-6: 
tolerate high amounts of electrolytes, ethanol or urea 
are stable in a pH range of 4.0 - 8.5 
tolerate all cosmetic oils 
are characterized by their skin moisturizing properties and a light skin feel. 
 
The emulsifier PBS-6 is present in yellowish-beige pellest and is suitable for natural cosmetics.

suitable is e.g. a combination of glyceryl stearate and cetearyl alcohol in a ratio of 1:1; to stabilize the emulsion, the additional use of 0.2 - 0.5 xanthan gum is recommended
for sprays, in addition to 2.5 - 4.0 % of the emulsifier, about 0.5 - 2.0 % of co-emulsifiers of the above-mentioned combination are sufficient; the use of 0.1 - 0.5 % xanthan gum is also recommended
