Disodium/Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate is a very mild anionic co- and base surfactant which, in addition to its excellent skin and mucous membrane compatibility, is also characterized by its very good foaming behavior and very good biodegradability. The moisture balance of the skin is positively supported, as the buffering effect of the surfactant maintains the natural pH value of the skin (approx. 5.5). Glutamate is a condensation product of the fatty acids of coconut oil and the amino acid obtained from fermented sugar. It is therefore one of the renewable raw materials and complies with NaTrue, BDIH and Ecocert. Disodium/Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate is a standard surfactant in natural cosmetic formulations.
