The naturally pure bergamot oil (botanical name: Citrus Bergamia Risso), known from cologne, is used as a top note in perfumes and captivates with its fresh and tart citrus note. Unfortunately, bergamot oil has a photosensitizing effect. It is therefore prohibited for sun protection products and should not be "worn" in the sun in any other way. The essential oil, which is pressed from the peels of the fruits of the bergamot tree, comes from Italy
