The moisturising, cooling and soothing aloe vera juice has long been used in cosmetics for reddened skin, minor sunburn and insect bites.
This aloe vera juice is obtained from the inner gel of fresh aloe vera plants. The aloe vera juice is not made from freeze-dried or spray-dried concentrate (aloe vera powder 200:1). To ensure that the juice retains its diverse, natural and sensitive ingredients, the fresh leaves are processed gently and without heat treatment. The juice is also free of aloin. This is a yellowish pigment that occurs in the bark and leaf juice of the aloe vera plant. Aloin can cause diarrhoea, nausea and vomiting if consumed and should therefore not be contained in aloe vera juice if possible.
