Aloe vera with its moisturizing, anti-inflammatory, and wound-healing effect has a tradition as a medicinal plant dating back to the year 2200 BC. The concentrate of Aloe Vera juice, gently extracted by reverse osmosis, is a clear, yellow-green liquid. The water-soluble Aloe Vera gel 1:10 is only conditionally heat-stable and should not be warmed up over 45°C. It is therefore recommended to stir the Aloe Vera Gel into the cooled, finished emulsion. Please note that the high content of minerals and salts in the aloe vera gel may affect the stability of an emulsion. 
Aloe Vera is versatile and is used not only in skin care but also in deodorants, shampoos, shower gels, and after-sun products.
